KAPAP Collaborative Research Project

This project is expected to benefit the fish farmers to get sustainable market for their produce after formation of the aquaculture products outlets. The farmers will also be able to earn more from aquaculture as a result of development of diversified aquaculture products. The aquaculture products market outlet operators will also benefit from the synchronized production enabling them to get sustainable fish supply from the organized farmers clusters. Traders will benefit by getting production and marketing information, Consumers will access aquaculture products more easily in good hygienic and sanitary conditions and all stakeholders will benefit through healthy and nutritious food security, sustainable income among players in the Aquaculture Value Chain.

 i.       Diversify aquaculture products developed

ii.       Enhance marketing of aquaculture products through innovations in marketing facilities.

iii.     Enhance accessibility of aquaculture products through strategically located marketing outlets.

iv.      Increased income and profitability from trade in aquaculture products

      v.       Enhanced accessibility to production and market information across the Aquaculture Value Chain.
